I recently lost my pit bull, named Rage. When I came home and found she had passed, I cried all night. My Chihuahua, Romeo stayed right by my side and licked the tears from my eyes and cuddled with me the whole time. Chihuahuas choose one person to bond with for life and prefer human company to other dogs. I am thankful that I got him before she passed because he was so sweet and comforting! I still miss my Rage but I have lots of wonderful memories with her.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss but it sounds like you have a new wonderful companion. I have a Chi mix and he has alot of those qualities. He is very in tune to your mood and will sit right by you when you are sad or sick. He is by far the most loving do I have ever owned. Best of luck to you both!
