The Poodle is a member of the Non-Sporting and Toy Groups. Poodles are very intelligent and amusing dogs. Poodles make great pets and are especially in tune with their owners moods. They are very agile dogs who love to walk on their back legs and climb things. Poodles range in size depending on their classification. Toy poodles are under 10 inches tall, Miniature Poodles are 10 - 15 inches tall and Standard Poodles are over 15 inches tall at the shoulders. Poodles have a very dense, curly coat that come in many different colors. Poodles love to learn new tricks and are very easy to train.

It has been found that a relatively new form of sugar free sweetner is EXTREMELY HARMFUL even DEADLY to dogs. Xylitol sugar substitute new in the Unites States commonly used in gums can cause coma or death in dogs. More information and complete article can be found here.
